Drive for Show, Putt For Dough

Michelle Wie should chase every dream she has, including playing in the men's U.S. Open, Masters, and anywhere else she can. But unless she stops putting with all the touch of Sweeney Todd cutting hair, she will be just another player -- even on the woman's tour.

Until she wins a tournament, she can never be taken seriously. Annika Sorenstam is taken seriously because she wins tournaments - it doesn't really matter that they're LPGA tournaments. While I appreciate her wanting to play with the men and applaud her efforts, Wie needs to get some wins under her belt and she needs to be a serious contender in every women's tournament she enters, only then will she develop the "chops" she needs not to bogey three in a row when she's so very close. (Omigod! I'm writing about golf!)
